I live in Australia, and I used to work as a TV host, journalist, and photographer.
These days, my greatest joy comes from traveling the world with my friends and pursuing the adventures that truly inspire me.
Of all the places I’ve explored, the one that captivates my heart the most is the great Northwest of China — a land of breathtaking grandeur and timeless beauty.
It’s home to some of the world’s most magnificent landscapes: the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau, the Pamirs, the Himalayas, the Gangdise Mountains, and the vast Taklamakan Desert.
It’s also a sanctuary for rare wildlife — Tibetan antelopes, black-necked cranes, and wild asses — and a crossroads of dazzling cultures.
Here, the legacy of the Silk Road, the dialogue between Central Asia and Europe, and the profound history and spirituality of Tibet intertwine, creating a charm unlike anywhere else on Earth.
This is where my journey truly began.
我是Charles，很高兴通过我的个人网站认识你。我生活在澳大利亚，曾经做个电视主持人、记者和摄影师，但是现在我的爱好的和好朋友们去周游世界。如果说这么多地方，哪里让我最魂牵梦绕，那一定是中国的大西北，哪里有世界上最壮丽的高原青藏高原、帕米尔高原、喜马拉雅山脉、冈底斯山脉、塔克拉玛干沙漠；有世界上最珍稀的野生动物，藏羚羊、黑颈鹤、藏野驴；有灿烂的民族文化，古丝绸之路和中亚，中欧的交流以及西藏的历史人文不断的交织碰撞，让这里散发着独特的魅力。我的行程也就从这里开始。
